Wheel Alignment & Front-End Alignment Near You
Alignment problems creep in slowly. The car drifts a little, the steering wheel sits a few degrees off, and the tires wear faster than they should. By the time you notice, the tires have usually already lost tread they won’t get back, and the steering and suspension have been working harder than they need to.
At Midas Fairhaven we measure camber, caster and toe on a computerized alignment rack and set them to your manufacturer’s specifications. Before we adjust anything, we inspect the steering and suspension parts that hold those angles—tie rod ends, ball joints, and control arm bushings—because an alignment on worn parts won’t last. You’ll know what we found before any work begins.
Walk-ins are welcome. Appointments are recommended and easy to schedule—call (508) 858-5722 or book online below.

Signs Your Alignment Needs Service Now
Alignment rarely fails all at once. It drifts out a little at a time, and every pothole speeds it up. If you’re noticing any of these around Fairhaven, Acushnet or New Bedford, bring your vehicle in for a free alignment check.
SouthCoast winters are hard on alignment. Frost heaves, spring potholes and months of rough pavement mean more alignment-knocking impacts here than in milder climates. We recommend a check at least twice a year, and any time you put on new tires.
Alignment Services at Midas Fairhaven
Every alignment at Midas Fairhaven starts with a computerized measurement of all four wheels. You’ll see exactly where your angles are before we adjust anything.
Four Wheel Alignment
Steering & Suspension Angle Correction
We set camber, caster, toe and thrust angle as one system, not one at a time. That’s what gets the vehicle tracking straight, the steering wheel centered and the tires wearing evenly.
Thrust Angle Alignment
The thrust angle is the direction the rear axle points relative to the vehicle’s centerline. When it’s off, the vehicle “dog “tracks”—moving slightly sideways down the road. We correct it on vehicles where rear adjustment is limited.
Free Alignment Check
Alignment After Suspension Work
Struts, control arms, tie rod ends, ball joints, and steering racks all need a follow-up alignment. We build it into our suspension repair process because skipping it undercuts the repair.
Pre-Alignment Inspection
Before every alignment we check the parts that hold the angles in place. A worn tie rod end or a cracked bushing will let the alignment drift back out within weeks, so we find those first.
What a Wheel Alignment Actually Protects
The way I explain alignment to customers is simple: it’s cheap insurance for your tires. A set of tires costs several times what an alignment does, and even a small toe error will scrub tread off a new set thousands of miles early. You don’t feel it happening. You just find out at the next rotation that the inside edges are bald.
What matters most is what happens before the alignment. Our rack takes a full before-and-after measurement and you get the printout. But if a tie rod end has play in it or a control arm bushing is cracked, the angles will wander back out within a few hundred miles. So I check those parts first every time, and if something’s worn, you hear about it before you spend anything on the alignment.
Around here, spring is the busy season. After a winter of frost heaves and potholes on Route 6 and the side streets off Huttleston, March and April bring in more alignment problems than the rest of the year combined. If you’re putting new tires on this spring, add an alignment. It protects the tires from the first mile.

Wall Group Exclusive — Not a Midas Program
Free Loaners & Uber on Us
A personal commitment from Matthew Wall and the Wall Group — because your day shouldn’t stop when your car does.
When a loaner isn’t available, we cover your Uber. Drop your car off and go about your day — no out-of-pocket cost, no waiting around. Ask at the service desk when you schedule.
SouthCoast Drivers We See Every Day
The vehicles SouthCoast families actually drive — Toyota RAV4, Ram pickup, and the full mix we see on Huttleston Ave every week.
If you drive around Fairhaven, Acushnet or New Bedford, you already know what’s on the road here. The Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V are the most registered vehicles in Massachusetts, and we see both constantly after pothole season. Ford F-150s, Ram 1500s and Toyota Tacomas are regulars too. Trucks take harder hits on rough roads and need their alignment checked more often.
Every alignment we do uses your vehicle’s own manufacturer specifications, not generic settings. A RAV4 and an F-150 have completely different alignment specs, suspension geometry and adjustment points, and we set each one to its spec.

Locally owned.
Personally accountable.
Not a corporate store — a community shop with a name on the door.
A Local Owner You Can Actually Reach
Midas Fairhaven isn't run from a regional office. It's a locally owned shop led by someone who lives and works on the SouthCoast, and who answers for the work that leaves the bay.
Decisions Made Right Here
Service recommendations, pricing, staffing, and shop standards are handled in Fairhaven. That means straight answers, real accountability, and a team that wants you back next time.
Built on Long-Term Relationships
We're not after the one-time job. The goal is to be the shop Fairhaven and Acushnet drivers call first—for oil changes, brakes, tires, alignments, and everything after.
Invested in the SouthCoast
From everyday customers to community work like Project Spark, this shop is part of the town it serves. When the SouthCoast does well, so do we.
Project Spark
Matthew is an active participant in Midas Project Spark.
Project Spark donates vehicles to veterans and families who need reliable transportation. Matthew has been recognized by the local VFW and community organizations for his work across the SouthCoast.
Matthew Wall
Matthew is a hands-on owner. You’ll find him at his shops, not behind a desk somewhere else. He built the Wall Group on one idea: working families deserve safe, reliable transportation and honest service. That’s how every one of his SouthCoast locations runs.
Wheel Alignment FAQ
Straight answers to the questions we hear most at the Fairhaven shop.
It depends on your vehicle and whether it needs a front-end or four-wheel alignment. We start with a free computerized alignment check, show you the measurements, and quote the exact price before any work begins. Call (508) 858-5722 or check the coupons above for current savings.
We recommend an alignment check at least once a year and any time you install new tires. With SouthCoast frost heaves and spring potholes, a check after any hard impact is smart too. If you notice pulling, uneven tire wear or an off-center steering wheel, don’t wait for the yearly check. Bring it in and we’ll measure it at no charge.
Yes, it’s one of the best things you can do for a new set. If the alignment is off when the tires go on, they start wearing unevenly from the first mile. An alignment check with new tires costs little and can add thousands of miles of tread life.
Usually one of three things: unequal tire pressure side to side, a tire with internal damage or irregular wear that pulls on its own, or a worn suspension part that kept the alignment from fully correcting. We check all three as part of every alignment. If a pull continues after our service, bring it back and we’ll take another look.
Yes, every time. Worn tie rod ends, loose ball joints, damaged control arm bushings or a bent part will keep an alignment from holding, and the angles will drift back out quickly. We inspect those parts first, show you what we find, and let you decide before any alignment work begins.
Straight Angles. Straight Answers.
Don’t let misalignment quietly wear out your tires. Schedule an alignment at Midas Fairhaven, or start with a free alignment check. We’ll tell you exactly where you stand.
